Bio

I have been researching my family lines since about 2001. Almost all (close to 8,000 ancestors) are from Maryland's middle and lower Eastern Shore counties: Kent, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset. Others are from the lower counties of Delaware and Accomack Co., VA . And a couple of ancestor lines are from Jefferson and Berkeley Counties, West Virginia (old Virginia). All of my memorial pages are family members.

Most of my cemetery/headstone photos are marked with a copyright notice in the caption. However, any Find A Grave or Ancestry.com member may use my photos for their personal genealogical work and in their tree(s) on Ancestry.com - ONLY if proper attribution to me is provided. NO other use is authorized.

I specifically do not authorize PeopleLegacy.com nor PeopleLegacy, INC. to use ANY PHOTOGRAPH or other media made by me or added by me to Find A Grave memorial pages regardless of copyright notices attached to it or not.

If we share ancestors, I am happy to respond to requests for information if/when I am able. Under certain circumstances, I will agree to transfer management of a memorial. But please remember that consideration of any transfer is voluntary. Please consult the Find A Grave guidelines before asking. And, i always do this for any transfer that I might seek. I think that's very fair and I hope those who make requests for a transfer will agree. All of the memorials I manage are for my family only or for those that my relatives ask that I create.

I am particularly interested in the following families, most of which are lower Maryland's Eastern Shore: Tilghman/Tillmon, Goldsborough, Miles, Beauchamp, Roach, Barnes, Adams/Addams, Ellicott, Fooks, Waggeman, Adkins, Holloway, Hearne/Hearn, Poe, Wier, Ellicott, Hooper, Steele, Parsons, Adkins, Attkinson, Dykes/Dikes, Freeney, Colbourn/Colbourne, Brittingham, Revell, Maynadier, Pitt and Nevett/Nevitt. In West Virginia/Virginia: Glen/Glenn, Bell/Beall, Burns, Southwood, Van Metre/Van Meter.

Many thanks to everyone who creates a memorial! We are all enriched by the histories of our families and Find A Grave is a valuable service that helps provide this opportunity for us to share our knowledge.
