I was born in Lansing, Michigan in 1944 and grew up in Oneida Twp of Eaton county, just south of Grand Ledge, Michigan. My father Otto Deer was a farmer, Oldsmobile/GM employee, Township supervisor/County Commissioner. Our Deer family has been in Eaton County since John Deer DÜR came from Sandusky County Ohio in the late 1870's. I live in Cadillac, Michigan now.
