I live in the same area where many of my ancestral families lived for generations. I have recently retired, & have been working on several family histories. I am entering records on my families and their extended families, as well as records from local cemeteries. My goal is to place records on-line to enable entended family members to find their relatives. If I have entered information on your family, please let me know & I will be happy to transfer them to you unless they are my direct ancestors. I have been delighted to hear from others who are related to my families as well.|

|Ruth Adkinson||RE: William Adkinson|
LOL..Michele....thanks for the alert...
William N. Adkinson was a son of the oldest Adkinson boy of Joseph and Rebecca Adkinson, named William, also....the father of William N. Adkinson..
William and family moved to Illinois, soon after William N.'s death, if I remember right...and the rest of the family lived in Illinois...
Anyway, I notice he is in Concord Cem..which, is apparently wrong...as, he should be in Patriot Cem...I'll see what I can do...
These are the notes I have on William N. Adkinson
Buried in Patriot Cemetery, Posey Twp., Switzerland Co., Ind. He died March 24, 18??. His tombstone is broken off. Burial grounds belong to Patriot Lodge #9 of Independent order of Odd Fellows in Posey Township, Switz. Co., Ind.

Thank You for uploading a pic of my father's stone.

Thank you for the information on her parents. That reminds me that I was meaning to go back and get better, lighter photos. There is very little natural light in that part of the mausoleum, and the lights in there are up very high and are not very bright. So the only way to get better photos is to go on a bright, sunny day, to get as much natural light as possible.
