I am a mother to 7 children and grandmother to 8 grandchildren. For as long as I can remember I have always taken an interest in where I came from as I have had little to go on many times, I continue to dig. My mother(Born in the Panama Canal Zone area)is from the Brasfield/Brassfield Family on her father's side which I have had more success with and my father is a Bowen(Penns Grove, Carney's Point, Del, NJ area)and that has been a challenge. I am finding as I age that my passion for my own roots and the deceased has increased and I want to know so much more and inform others of my findings so that they to can enjoy there ancestors.
