Hi David, I have visited the Robert's Cemetery and saw Tatom Buckner's grave w/ headstone. Are there church - cemetery survey records to verify that Martha Patsy is buried beside Tatom? Would like to accurately locate her burial location. Thanks, Ellen

William Davidson
Mac Morgan gives in his book that Wm and Elizabeth (Peters) Davidson's son William married Lillian Walker The two named sons of this Davidson/Walker union were John Carol and Wm 'Billy' Jr.

I have that Wm and Elizabeth (Peters) Davidson's son William married Siverine Lamey in 1855 in Mobile Co., AL. Other than this marriage license, I find nothing on Siverine.

Questions: Did this William have two marriages: 1) Siverine Lamey and 2) Lillian Walker? Are the Williams, since there are so many, being confused?

Butler cemetery, causeyville, ms
Mr. Sprinkle

Around the 29, 31 of Dec. 2011, you placed several memorials of the Rainer family, into this cemetery at Causeyville.

We had a gentleman walk and catolouge that cemetery and all his records show are BUTLER memorials and 2 smiths.

I am in Lauderdale, County ms where these cemeteries are located and trying to make some correction and deletions in the cemeteries here.

I have been here all my life and kno the county,
I am familiar with both cemeteries, however several years ago a tornado tore up the Butler Cemetery, trees down all over.

I need to kno where you got you information that the Rainers were in Butler Cemetery, also
5 of the 6 Butlers are showing up in the Hebron Cemetery with headstones about 3 miles north of the Butler Cemetery close to hiway 19 south.

I will be waiting your answer. Thanks

James and Eliza Murray-2nd great grandparents
Hi David, I visited the Hill Cemetery in Heron Bay, Alabama recently after finding my 2nd great grandparents listed on Find A Grave as being in Hill Cemetery and their son James Murray. Since these graves are obviously unmarked, would you know where the source of this information would come from. I assume maybe a nearby church may have the record of their burial at Hill Cemetery or maybe some other document.
Any help would be appreciated.

For Memorial 86386503, please correct the error in your bio of this Marine. He was not awarded the Medal of Honor, there is no record of such an award bestowed upon him. The only award mentioned on his Military Marker is the Purple Heart.

Thank You.

RE: Hamilton
Thanks for the quick response. By the 1860 Census William Hamilton was dead so he isn't listed with Lucinda and their two boys. (I agree it's most likely they were husband and wife...... divorce wasn't unheard of at the time.) If I get stronger evidence Thomas Jefferson Hamilton (Memorial # 18775930) , born in Benton County Alabama circa 1840, is Williams' son, I'll link their graves.
Best Wishes,
