For Memorial 86386503, please correct the error in your bio of this Marine. He was not awarded the Medal of Honor, there is no record of such an award bestowed upon him. The only award mentioned on his Military Marker is the Purple Heart.

Thanks for the quick response. By the 1860 Census William Hamilton was dead so he isn't listed with Lucinda and their two boys. (I agree it's most likely they were husband and wife...... divorce wasn't unheard of at the time.) If I get stronger evidence Thomas Jefferson Hamilton (Memorial # 18775930) , born in Benton County Alabama circa 1840, is Williams' son, I'll link their graves.
|Peggy Mac||Memorial # 84954395|
I'm trying to research my GG Grandfather (Thomas Jefferson Hamilton, born in Alabama between 1838 and 1840) and came across this memorial for William Hamilton (1774-1855) that has a wonderfully informative bio. It's possible the Lucinda Hamilton mentioned is my ancestor. I'd like to contact the person that wrote this bio with the hope that they can help me answer some questions. Such as: Could Lucinda be one of William's daughters instead of his second wife? She was born in 1814 and he has "unknown child" listed with that birth year. I realize this would mean Lucinda was an unwed mother (or married another Hamilton) but the date of his second marriage implies he divorced his first wife or was a bigamist.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

What data did you use as the basis for William Ewing buried in Navy Cove
I added an obituary for your memorial for Martha E Tillman in Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.

David, was wondering if you have a burial location for William Wilkins Clark ca1823-bef1870, s/o Archibald & Elizabeth Neely Clark. His second wife Elizabeth Cochran Clark Nolan is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Ocean Springs. Trying to help my bro-in-law find his ancestors. Thanks for any info.

Dear Mr. Sprinkle, you spoke to my brother, Lew Thomas from NJ some yrs. ago Re Armenta Crane, Coden.
Her sister Wilhelmina, married to Willie Havens, lived about a stones throw from the Matlock sisters in 1963. I was 9 then and stayed for the summer. I even took piano lessons from Miss Helen. Is there any way that you can find the actual location of where the house was? We could see the house from the yard, and all I remember is that there was a Giant tree as you walked up there. My aunt and uncle had a small chicken farm there, but I cannot locate the address either. I don't believe they owned the property.I know this sounds like a weird request, but I have been searching for years! Thanks so much for any help you can give! Liz Eisele

You have James Wilton Barber listed as a sibling to William "Wid" Barber. He was the son of Uncle Wid and his wife Hattie Steiner. Just wanted to let you know.
