A University of Tennessee grad, I have been researching my family tree for about 50 years, along the way becoming a member of the Pioneer Families of White County, Tennessee as a direct descendant of John Knowles who settled in White County prior to January 1, 1820 as well as a member of First Families of Tennessee as a direct descendant of Andrew Beaty who settled in Tennessee prior to statehood, June 1, 1796. Also researching my Sanders,Hull and Hembree lines. In my spare time, I co-manage three county web pages on the TN Gen Web, Bedford, Clay and Jackson and write articles for some of the journals and newsletters in Middle TN. Most recently, I've enjoyed becoming a member of the Hull Family Association. Would be glad to share info on any of my family lines.
