I joined the USMC and became an aerial navigator with VMGR-252, attended Montclair State Teachers College, taught physics and chemistry in Freehold, NJ; received an MA from the University of Mississippi in Chemistry, attended Teachers College, Columbia University, New York to receive EdD and ran out of money at the dissertation level! A common occurrence! Worked as a teacher, a business administrator, NJ State Department of Education, a teacher after a stroke and retired from Newark Public Schools, Newark, NJ in 2004.
