Bio

I became interested in genealogy when I found a collection of pictures and various documents that my maternal grandmother, Elva Leora Jones Eyestone, had kept and passed on. As I went through what she had left my mother was still living and could help me identify some of the people that I did not know.

I love to share what I have (pictures and documents. My view is that if I share the past with others, the past has a chance of being available for the future, where if I keep it what I have may someday cease to exist.

Most of my family originates from Germany Eyestone (Ellmendingen-Augenstein), Stuckey (Hilst-Stucki)and Goldstein.

My families of interest include Eyestone (Fayette County), Jones (Bond County), Kingery (Cumberland County, Stuckey (Effingham and Cumberland Counties, Goldstein (Effingham County)
