Parker Family @ Centennial Cemetery in New Haven, Macomb Co, MI This is Exciting News ! I stopped @ the New Haven City Office to get a plot No for the Parker Family as I have a map. The Clerk hesitantly pulled out the very old Log book and could not find any of the families I was looking for as they were recorded by the Deed Owner. She told me there were no records for the Currie, Parker or Hamblin families as they didn't purchase a plot. So, I proceeded to the cemetery to find at least one recent grave. I pulled into a roadway off the main drive, parked my car, and headed to the newer section & found a new headstone. As I was returning to my car, I noticed the large Hamblin headstone in front of my car along with the Parker Family directly next to my car ! This cemetery is fairly good size so walking the entire cemetery to find headstones takes a few trips. It was if I had been "directed" to park next to the Parker plot !!! I just had to share this Great Story. I have several photos to sort thru & some are hard to read, as I took advantage of my find and took many photos of the entire plot so check back later and search for all the Parker profiles.
S. Weeden I just uploaded a picture you requested. It isn't a great picture, but it is all we have on file. I took it from the Hartland Historical Society cemetery section, which I manage. We don't have very many volunteer photographers, so I suspect we won't have a better picture any time soon, but it wouldn't hurt to check back periodically if this picture is really important to your research.
infant Templeton I have found a stone marker at Ebenezer Cemetery for "Child of Mr. and Mrs. William Templeton". If you feel that this is the infant Templeton marker that you need, I will upload the photo. I did not find a marker or headstone for Cora Templeton.
Sarah Smith Conro Thank you very much for posting the photo I greatly appreciate it! I am going to request another one with maybe a different angle or better lighting only because there is engraving at the bottom (possibly children) that I can't read. Thank you again I do appreciate your time and assistance! Rosemary
