RE: Durkee memorials

Hi Sherry,

First, I want to thank you for the creating and managing the Durkee memorials. Iíve only recently come across the Find-A- Grave Site and would like to contribute what I can to them. For a little background info, I am, at 87 years old, the youngest of the 4 remaining George W. Durkee families, 39 Grandchildren. Being a late comer to the Family, there are some of my 39 Cousins, I had never even met. I have a lot of Durkee memorabilia and photos, some dating back to the early 1900ís that have, and possibly will, enable me to make additional contributions to the Durkee Memorials, which could be easier done, if I managed them.
So yes, I would like you to transfer any Durkee memorials to me that you care too.
Again, thanks a lot for all your efforts.

I was wondering if you knew where Floyd Hodges was born or who his parents may be? I am looking for a Floyd L. Hodges, born around 1920 to Clara Ann Farris (my relative) and William H. Hodges. I was hoping they were one and the same.

Tom Ryan
Margaret Ryan
She is married to William Ryan 1802 - 1880
Margaret's birth date and Death date are they visable. I used to check a stone if it was not very clear, I would smear it with white shaving cream and wipe with a straight edge, like a 12 " ruler. Then I would take a picture and the white in the grooves, how slight they may be, would stand out. It is very important that this is truly my G Grandparents,Or not. The dates for William check out but Iam not sure about Margaret.b. 1810 d. 1891.Is her maiden name ( Kane ) on this monument?
I appreciate your help.I looked at the photo on Find a grave and i am not able to make it out.

Thank you so much. I am new to this and you are my first transfer. I will honor your efforts by adding bios and pics. It may take me a while to determine others who I need to add, but for now, thanks so much.
