Bio and Links
Bio Photo In the course of researching and putting together my family tree, my husband and I have come to realize just how fulfilling it is to have an answer. This site helped us find some of ours. We appreciate the opportunity to help others find theirs.

My husband is a linguist who has a particular interest in Old German gravestones. He's always willing to help translate if desired.

Please link son of Joseph W Witherow
Hi Terri,

Would you please add a link for the entry for Joseph Washington Witherow (memorial #69954158) to son Lester Stewart Witherow (memorial #81486035). Lester (called "Jim"), was the husband of my great-aunt, Vivian (Bitely) Witherow.

Thanks! - Nancy Barnett

Jane from MI
Mary Ann Staley Bucher
I found her obituary. Thank you for the name of the paper and date. Mary Ann's sister Emma Jane Staley Spangler #23381278 is also buried there. Her other sister Lucinda Elizabeth Staley Palmer is buried in Saint John's Lutheran Cemetery, Littlestown. Their parents Joseph and Elizabeth Staley are buried in Christ United Church of Christ Cemetery in Littlestown. There was another sister, Sarah E Staley, who was 7 in the 1850 census (Mount Joy, Adams, PA) and not in the 1860 census. I can not find a death record nor a burial record for her. Do you have transcriptions of the cemeteries or is there a book you can recommend? Where do you live? Jane from MI

Best wishes, Jim Lawrence
