Note to all:
When you see a star followed by a cross on a tombstone. It means this person was a baby that was born & died on the same day.
That is why there is only one date on stone.

|George Vernon||RE: Doris Day|
Thank you for your prompt response. No, I did not know Doris. She is my 2nd cousin once removed that I ran across while doing research on the Chamness family.
|Cindy Lovell & Steve Hols||Dutch Names No Spaces or Spaces|
I am sorry to say that I can no longer accept the space/ no space edits as you have been suggesting. As soon as I make the changes as you suggest, I get hammered by someone else to change them back. Then there is the problem with the F.A.G. search as it does not understand spaces.
Please try to understand my situation.

The Dutch community, in an effort to standardize records across, the board has asked that the spaces go the way of the spaces in the Mc names.
I will respect that, as searching both ways is a pain. Eventually, they will all be the same.
|Tammy Bell||RE: Eddie Eugene DeYoung|
He is buried in the Brethren Cemetery Southwest of Elkhart, Iowa. The other Brethren Cemetery in Polk County Iowa is in Washington Township, about 4 miles south of Maxwell, Iowa. It's official name is The Church of The Brethren Cemetery. The two are about 10 miles apart. Thanks for taking the time to make things right. I live in Maxwell so am willing to help with other questions if you have any.
|Marc G.||RE: Mary Ann Duckworth|
Miss Cindy, Matt Duckworth emailed me pictures of Dr. Herman & Mary Charlotte "Mamie" Faber. I posted them on their memorial entries.

I'm glad you like the photos and glad I could do it for you.
|The Locator||RE: Harold R Wheeler|
I contacted Rob and asked him Wheeler where his dad died and he said he was in a hospital in Des Moines, so I changed that info. His address was Cambridge when he passed away and that is probably why SS states Cambridge.
Did you ever find out what become of the Wheeler Bible?
Keep in touch, Ruthie
|S Hemingway||James "Mike" Mather|
Thanks for sending the obit for James Mike Mather. I have added the obit & his photo to the memorial. If you are a relative or friend of Mikes, please feel free to send a Transfer Request to me via Findagrave.
|Patrivia||RE: Donald & Gloria Fink|
You are certainly welcome. We were in Indiana over Labor Day weekend for a reunion and went to this cemetery to visit graves of relatives. We saw your request on Find A Grave and got a little exercise locating the grave. It appears to well cared for.
