Note to all:
When you see a star followed by a cross on a tombstone. It means this person was a baby that was born & died on the same day.
That is why there is only one date on stone.

|Ron Rader||Cleaning gravestones|
I use a dish pan with several gallons of water and a plastic bristled brush. No detergents of any kind.
I don't know for sure if the plastic bristled brush is bad for the stone, but it doesn't appear to leave scratches or anything.
I do know that you aren't supposed to use a wire brush. Do not use any kind of detergents, solvents, gasoline, pressure washers, or chemicals of any kind. Do not use bleach. Bleach can really harm the stones.
They also say use a soft-bristled brush. How soft? What do they mean--soft? Anything less than what I use--would take forever to get the mud, dirt and slime off. I hope I am not wrong for using the type I am using.
Here's the brush I use. It is one of your common household type of pot scrubber with the semi hard bristles on it.
plastic bristled brush
Hope this helps.
Try doing a Google search on 'how do you clean a gravestone?'
|Ron Rader||Ruth Robb at White Cemetery|
Are you sure Ruth is buried in this cemetery? Do you know if she has a gravestone? What is her complete name?
I have spent over 7 hours in the cemetery doing some cleanup work on buried stones. I have photographed the entire cemetery. I can not find any stone with her name on it.
There is a small gray stone marker with a verse on it, but no name or dates of any kind. This marker sits in the area with the other Robb stones. Perhaps this is her grave marker?
Thank you for adding info to the memorial page for Kathy Lawson.

If I may ask, how did you insert hyperlinks into your bio for your parents individual pages on Find A Grave, and within different biographies on memorials that you manage?
|Carl Nollen||RE: Clayton Harsin|
Thank you. A couple photos have a reflection which shouldn't be there so I will try to retake soon. The black stones shiny as a mirror cause photography problems!
Regarding your post, I can assure you, when I added my memorial there was no other. I don't know if you are aware but you can move a memorial to another cemetery, and the dates remain the same etc., if said memorial was listed to begin with in the wrong cemetery, and I believe that is exactly what has happened here I would NOT add a memorial of such significance by accident It is a veteran and I do extensive research. Sorry but I wont be deleting my memorial. What you do is up to you. But I find it rude to assume I added this fraudulently.
Bornt is in 3 other times. Please post the photos to this first memorial # 65941192. The other 2 need deleted. When I see you have done this I will ask Mike and Cathy Meyers-Ro.. to delete theirs.

Good evening Miss Cindy,
I live in Dayton. If you find that Marvin Duckworth is buried in Columbus, Ohio, give a yell a possibly I'll locate his grave the next time I go by Columbus (not too often though).
If you knew Matt, and don't have his e-mail address, I'll post it on your message board Friday evening but for privacy, please delete that message as soon as you copy his e-mail address. Thanks. -Marc G.

Good evening Miss Cindy,
In regards of the three Faber sisters: Annabel, Sarah & Mary Ann, they were all adapted by Herman & Mary Faber. Annabel was the biological sister to my grandfather, John Herman Geissler. If you view Annabel Geissler Faber Muckerman's memorial entry, the second picture down is of Annabel and her brother, my grandfather, John Geissler. Click on her site and you will see who her biological parents were.
Back in 2014, I had been in contact with Matthew Duckworth, grandson of Mary Ann Neff Faber Duckworth and with Linda W., daughter of Sarah Jane Faber. Linda lives with her husband in Excelsior Springs, MO. Linda is the one that sent me the picture of the three sisters when they were young.
Matt did not know who Mary Ann's biological parents were except their last name was Neff.
As for your question about Mary Ann's divorced husband, no, I do not know where Marvin, Sr. is buried, just that he listed as the husband on Ancestry.com. Someone had linked Mary Ann as possibly marrying to Earl Best. But it sounds like from you they were just living together.

Like I said, Derric had to remove the link to this spouse, & it's not showing up now, so thanks.
I've updated the rest now. One more problem though. Since you seem to have administrative rights somehow, could you or Derric remove the photo on her page of a big rock w/ a D on it? I don't think it belongs on this person's page, but as administrator of her page now, I don't see any way to remove the photo.
