RE: Ida Palmer
Hi,
I am researching family in the Pomona cemetery. I have not found a connection to Ida Palmer. I have no more information. I will let you know if I find anything.

Nancy and Susanna Brown
Cindy,

Any hints you can give me on Susan and Nancy Brown? I looked in the Story County Index for burials and was unable to find either in the index. There were a couple Browns buried in Woodland cemetery but there dates of birth and death didn't match. Any idea who they were married to, daughters of or parents of? Sometimes these help in my search. I'll go out next week to see what I can find.

RE: Woodland Cemetery
I did not notice one for Mr. Connelly but nearby was a stone marked "Infant" but the rest of the stone was unreadable and precariously leaning. Another stone lying nearby was for the mother of J.S. Shoop and was inscribed, "IN memory of the mother of J.S. Shoop died Dec 8, 1873 Aged 79Y 7M 19D". That stone is lying down. If you would like these photos, just send me your e-mail address and I'll forward them to you so you can post them.

RE: Leslie & Alice Peterson
You're welcome, this was a new cemetery for me and I love getting to visit new cemeteries! I just uploaded the family Peterson marker. Note that there were a number of grave markers around this family marker. Two Baby, Willie, Bennie, Edwin L, Edwin J and Ole and Ellen labeled as Father and Mother. I connected those two, let me kwow if you know how any of the other's relate and I can link them as well.

Thank you for all the info. I think I got all the info added. I have belonged to Find A Grave for several years, but never learned how to navigate around. I hoped I explained clearly about the 2 cemeteries. Sheldahl Cemetery (main one for the town) is in Polk Co. at the south edge of Sheldahl. The main part of town is in Story Co. Sheldahl Lutheran Cemetery is abt. 2 miles north of town is in Palestine Twp. sec. 18, Story Co., IA. just east of the corner of 500th Ave. (co. road 38) & 310th St. I have been contacted before about getting these 2 mixed up & then adding a 3rd one with a Slater address. I need to look up the actual postal address for it. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
