I spend a very long time researching my memorials, and will admit I make mistakes...|
There are so many places online to find information and my local library has great resources, but all you find, is not always
the "whole story".. So I am always looking..
I have recently noticed that some other contributors are adding information in the space for "FLOWERS", If I find more of these, I will ask you to delete them. IF you have information, or suggestions, CONTACT me, and I will add it to the bio. I spend a lot of time researching my memorials and do not like the "Notes".
Family names: Aitkens and various spellings, Altic/Altick/Altiq, Allison, Banta, Bagby, Baxter, Brading, Brown, Bush, Cohee, Cunningham, Demaree, Graham, Fulton, Harden/Hardin, Long, Luster, O'Cain, Perrine, Rasberry/Raspberry, Sears, Shuck, Stewart, Stigleman, Swift, Tobias, Vincent and several more.....
I have always liked history and genealogy. For over twenty years I have researched my family tree, and also have done extensive research on Tipton and surrounding counties in Indiana.
If you find a mistake in my memorials, it will be checked out and corrected.
Please do not send nasty-grams, if I upset you over a suggestion.

thank you for adding wm ross, in researching my great grandmother Goldie Ross. Can I use the obit you have for Wm Ross I got one from Madison co historical society but it was only abt 4 lines and it does not tell much of William at all.

Hi Katie, I see you have some Sears in your family and some of the Yates memorials. My Grandma Henery (Sears) Love had a sister named Sudie who was married to Ernie Yates at one time. Beulah and William W. Yates were his parents. No one in my family remembers where Sudie was buried other than in or near Oklahoma City. She had been married more than a few times. But, I believe Ernie was her last husband. I wondered if you might have any knowledge of her and could help in any way. Thanks so much, Debbie

|Mary Anne Shamp||RE: Cohee|
I figured that out by the comments you left with your flowers.
This is how I connect:
Mary Elizabeth Cohee & John Wesley Johnson were my great grandparents. Going back in time this is the line.
Lemuel Cooper Cohee & Hannah B Ostler, his 2nd wife... first wife but not my line was Sarah Ann "Sally" Jump Collins
Lemuel Cohee & Nancy Ann Cooper
Benjamin(e) B Cohee & Rachel Dill
Benjamin Cohee (b ca 1725) & Unknown
It goes back more than that, but I haven't done much yet in Ancestry.com with it. I am still trying to organize my massive pile of information. I had put Cohee genealogy aside for a long time and just recently got back into it.
|Mary Anne Shamp||Henry Holland Cohee's wife|
Henry Holland Cohee's wife, Abigail Cohee, is buried in Iowa. Her Find A Grave # is 80937310, in case you would like to add a link to his Find A Grave. I have really enjoyed seeing all the flowers you have left as memorials throughout the family. I have been researching my Penrod, Cohee, and Johnson family trees for about 50 years, having started as a teenager. I appreciate your hard work.
|Glenda Barry||RE: Welcome|
Yes, this is a very worthwhile project and we are helping a lot of future generations by creating the memorials. I'll be 69 soon but I intend to keep on doing this as long as I possibly can.
Take care and have a beautiful weekend!

That is fine.
