Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi Everyone - Back when I was 8 years old, my grandpa, Paul Joseph Peter Allen, helped me make a family tree for a school project. Back then we didn't get that far...LOL. In 1999, I found that project and started working on it again. Now I've got over 20,000 people connected to my tree. I think my grandpa would be proud of what I've accomplished, thus my name, My Labor of Love!!! I'm a "Genealogy Pack Rat" and it's time that I shared my findings. I hope I was able to help someone with this information.

Take Care & God Bless -
Brandi
(a mom of 3 cutie pies)

My goal is to attain what was once lost or forgotten. To investigate and then document my finding to further an ancestry or find a loved one. But most of all, making sure everyone is remembered no matter how short or long they were on this earth or what accomplishments they did or didn't do, that they are remembered and their story is told.

Corrections
Please use the "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" found under the Edit tab.

Transfers
First and foremost, you must be related to that individual; (ex: grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, uncle, aunt, cousin, etc...) I really don't care how many generations back, you could be a 4th cousin 5x removed, as long as the lineage is there! If you meet that criteria, please use the Edit tab on the individual that you would like transferred over to your care. Then select "Suggest a correction or provide additional information". Please include your Find A Grave ID #, relationship to the individual, and that you would like this memorial transferred to you. I'll transfer anyone that isn't in my family tree. But if it happens to be someone that is, closest relationship to that person wins!

Photographs
I think it's selfish for people to take possession over a photo taken, so please feel free to use any photos that I post.

Photo for Pvt. Louis J. Verbiscar
Hello,
Back in Jan. 7, 2016 you posted a photo for Memorial #134786398, Pvt. Louis J. Verbiscar in his uniform. The thumbnail shows correctly, but the image on the memorial page does not appear. If you could delete the photo and try reloading it again, I would be most grateful.
Thanks,
Bernie_L

Brandi,
I just returned from a trip to the Chicago area to visit a cousin, and while there, I took several photos I would like to add to Find-a-grave. I also have exact birth and death dates for these relatives and would like to join them. I thought first to ask if you are related to any Kehm or Rang ancestors buried in this cemetery?
This line starts with Eva W (Rang)Kehm #123926707 who is (per my tree in ancestry)

Eva Wilhelmine Rang (1831 - 1895)
paternal grandmother of wife of paternal grandfather
John William Kehm (1864 - 1952)
son of Eva Wilhelmine Rang
Edna M Kehm (1897 - 1959)
daughter of John William Kehm
William George Henry Oetke (1888 - 1966)
husband of Edna M Kehm
George Henry Oetke (1916 - 2004)
son of William George Henry Oetke
Carole Ellen Oetke
You are the daughter of George Henry Oetke

If you are willing to transfer these to me, I will send you another note with all the memorial ids (no more than 20). If not, I will send you a list of the changes and edits and will add the photos I took on Thursday.

Thanks so much,
Carole Oetke Townsend (Carole T)

Find A Grave Reord # 85246194

Hello my name is Tom Glowacki and I am related to Henry Hunderman. I have also created a Find A Grave record for him. Someone told me this was a duplicate and sent me this record #.

Are you related to the Hunderman family? If not would you mind deleting this record, so there is only one record active.

Thanks for the consideration and help.

RE: Luie Hopkins Ball - FAG # 87653569
O.K. I know all the census records and her gravestone say Luie. The border crossing that lists her as Lucy made me believe Luie was her nickname. My first name is Lucy and I never use it. I'll correct her name to Luie (with a note that it's possibly her nickname). Thanks for all your research and all you do! Pam
