I feel we are preserving the past and honoring the people buried in cemeteries because their lives, were indeed important and I hope after I'm gone, people will feel my life mattered too. I love the history you can find in cemeteries, funeral homes and museums.
I'm on the Advisory Board for Osage Gardens Cemetery of Skiatook, a Member of Hillside Cemetery Association Committee Skiatook and a Member of the Skiatook Museum Committee, it's interesting looking thru old newspapers and reading old obits while at the museum.
I reside in Oklahoma, LOVE to scuba dive and ENJOY walking cemeteries.
