Please read before sending corrections:|
I'd very much prefer to transfer a memorial to someone who is researching the person listed than make corrections. Even if you are only distantly related or not related at all. If you know more, you are a better person to manage it than I am. (I do keep management of memorials for my own relatives rather than transfer those to well-meaning non-family members.)
Per Find a Grave guidelines, I do not add obituaries to biographies.
Please use the Suggest any other correction or addition link on the Edit tab of a memorial to request transfer of that memorial.
Feel free to use my photos under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. That means you can use them without asking me so long as you credit me, you don't sell them, and if you make something based off my photos, you must also let people use *that* on these terms. If you do not include attribution when you use or repost my photos, I will send a take-down notice. I don't ask for much. Please just include it so I don't have to be a bad guy.
All my photos are also available on Flickr in higher resolution, as Find a Grave limits photo sizes.

You are very welcome. My father is buried just up the hill from him, and it is always an honor to fulfill requests at SFNC.

OK, I will email Ella's obit to your email address as an attachment.
|Nathan Haines||Ella Crim Warrington|
I got pics per your request for Ella Crim Warrington's gravesite. Just the year of death on their crypts. That is rather unusual is it not?
I found an obit in the paper for Ella and just a funeral notice for her husband. It says Miron F. on his crypt. It says in the funeral notice in the paper as well as the State of Oregon death index that his name is Francois M Warrington. It says in the census that his name is Francis M. Apparently at some point in time he started going by his middle name of Miron as it says on his crypt do you think?
I can email you the two pages I found with Ella's obit and Miron's funeral notice if you like. They are in full pages of the paper and in pdf format if that is ok with you. It tells Ella's date of birth in her obit and where she was born. Not so for Miron's notice. It is rather brief.
You can get their State of OR death certificates from the Oregon State Archives in Salem for 5 bucks each. That should have a lot more info for you. Any death certificate that is more than 50 years old comes out from under privacy laws in OR and are sent to the State Archives and are public record then.
I can tell you how to send for them if interested. They scan it and email it to you and then send you a bill in the mail.

You're very welcome...Some times people get what I call a 'bonus'! I took his, hers and their daughter was in the next row over in line with them. Just look at McCoy's in Westwood. I'm thinking her name was Edith for some reason but I may be wrong.

Okay, understood. Although Lewis La Porte was her first husband there is no grave listing for him and thus cannot be added as a spouse.
Added search point: There was a large family with the Schuelter surname in the Cassville area [circa 1870] and several interred in the St Andrews/Dutch Hollow Cemetery in Grant County. The Schuelter that is listed on F-A-G is possibly her brother and another site states that her Father Peter is in the same cemetery. Her Mother, Margaret, is not listed.

Please advise areas/items of conflict regarding my last suggested correction.

|High Plains||Mary and Andrew Kryzsko|
Hi Philip -
Edit for them being parents of Anton Andrew Kryzsko (1884-1947) you sent to me.
The dates as shown certainly don't add up as their being the parent of Albion - he was born before them according to the memorials. It looks as if Mary was born in 1886 (according to the photo of her marker) instead of 1899.
I did not request an edit for Mary but someone did for Albion.
I will approve the edit for them as being the parents of Anton Kryzsko but if Mary was really born in 1899 she was just 15 when Andrew was born. Not impossible but not probable.
Kind of a mess! :)
High Plains :)

I have not seen the actual book, but there is an online version of it available at http://iagenweb.org/hardin/cem-recs/cem-index.html. There are five files for Union Cemetery listed under Hardin Township. I have downloaded and searched all five parts and did not find his name. The paragraph below is my only knowledge of the contents of the book. I have not tried to find out if the cemetery has additional records. The transcription does appear to be fairly complete through 1995 but I found a few minor errors. There also were several instances where I wondered if there were unmarked and unrecorded graves because of missing spouses, etc.
If you would like transfers of any of the others I posted, I am happy to do that.
Union Cemetery, Hardin Township, Section 13
Owned and operated by the Ladies Social Gathering, Inc. since 1859. Located in northwest Iowa Falls, 1310 Cedar St. In 1995, the board members walked the cemetery and recorded inscriptions. The board combined those records and the cemetery records and, in July 1998, published a book of the burials within Union Cemetery.
