Please read before sending corrections:
I'd very much prefer to transfer a memorial to someone who is researching the person listed than make corrections. Even if you are only distantly related or not related at all. If you know more, you are a better person to manage it than I am. (I do keep management of memorials for my own relatives rather than transfer those to well-meaning non-family members.)
Per Find a Grave guidelines, I do not add obituaries to biographies. Please send citation information (e.g., name of publication, publication date, page number, etc.) instead.
For memorials that I manage, I prefer to have searches for the information on the headstone be able to bring up the memorial. For instance, if the stone says Ethel Jones, I will keep the name listed as Ethel Jones. If Ethel's legal name was Gladys Ethel Jones, I will note that in the biography.
Please use the Suggest any other correction or addition link on the Edit tab of a memorial to request transfer of that memorial.
Feel free to use my photos under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. That means you can use them without asking me so long as you credit me, you don't sell them, and if you make something based off my photos, you must also let people use *that* on these terms. If you do not include attribution when you use or repost my photos, I will send a take-down notice. I don't ask for much. Please just include it so I don't have to be a bad guy.
All my photos are also available on Flickr in higher resolution, as Find a Grave limits photo sizes.

I am writing the first spreadsheet from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas.//Am writing biography of Decatur Stephan McDannell (1830-1890). A researcher identified as ladytess_90 who is related to Rhoda Ishamael,who died 1926 in Cassville, Wisconsin, left a rootsweb message board January 28,2009. INFO TO SHARE. Hello Phillip. I have been searching for my great great grandmother Mary Eaton married to Michael Eaton, mother of Ralph. I am hoping that I have found her, thanks to you for posting the photo of her memorial. It reads Mary Mcclintock, Mother of __. Eaton. I am not able to read the initial, so I am wondering if you can tell me what the initial is? I believe that Michael died young and she remarried George. I have documentation for George Mcclintock who died in a house fire in Jackson, Iowa in 1880. The last name seems to have be spelled both ways. Is George's gave in the same cemetery or were his remains even buried. Thank you so much for any information that you might be able to find. Respectfully, Ann

I added photos of Edward's unmarked grave. The captions of the photos describe the area. Sorry there wasn't a better outcome but this section of the cemetery has many unmarked graves.

|Nancy Kiel-Gravning||RE: Van Loo|
Checking the name spelling every which way can be tricky. I can see why you didnít see it since I goofed up and had it listed as Vanloo and not Van Loo. Iím glad to see you copied my links to his parents so instead of having Find-A-Grave merge the two, Iíll just delete my original. Thanks again for the great photos.

Philip - I have a feeling that Catherine Campbell is interred in an area adjacent to the Colonnade, which was locked on Saturday. (Are there other Campbells she might be interred with or next to?). My claim for the photo will expire today but if it's not filled by someone else, I'll look for her crypt later in the week. Jim

I'm not sure if you live near Strasburg, but I would love a close up photo of the portrait photos on Michael Thomas' headstone. I did look on your Flikr page for the high res, but I'd really like a close up shot of just the portraits. Michael is the brother of my great-grandmother.
I put in a photo request, too.

The earlier memorial is less complete and will be deleted. I have contacted Find-A-Grave to about this.
