re: Keesler's in Fairmount Cemetery
Hi! Hope this finds you well. I fulfilled 2 of your photo requests today and must apologize that both headstones had some grass on them. I was trying to cover as much of the cemetery as possible and did not know they were requested.

If and when I make it back out there, I will do my best to clear the headstone better and will take additional photos.

Hope this helps at least a little.

Have a great week!

RE: Unknown Father
Now I'm messing up! I got the two Augusts (father and son) mixed up. You're right. There is no duplication.

However, based on Find A Grave's guidelines for unknown burial, I still think you should remove the memorial. You can send a request to the person who maintains #123456393 and # 29276848 to add something in the bio for both memorials.

Something like:

Heinrich Pagel (#29276848) was the brother of August Pagel (#123456393).

RE: Wilhelmina Pagel #142300078
It's totally understandable. Don't worry about it.

I think I've fixed everything now. I also made a bunch of updates to Wilhelmina's memorial based on the information you sent.

I also sent you a bunch of edit requests. Since you said that Heinrich and August were brothers, I sent you a request to link Heinrich to August's parents who are buried in Ogdensburg Cemetery in Waupaca, WI.

Please remove the memorial #141735571.

Wilhelmina Pagel #142300078
Last February, you sent an edit request to update Wilhelmina's DOD from 1920 to May 9, 1913. I approved the request.

Find A Grave contributor, Mary McCarthy, posted a photo of the marker for Minnie and August that shows a DOD of 1920. He recently contacted me about this memorial (see his message on my contributor page regarding this memorial.)

I have two questions. Do you think this is the correct photo? What is the correct DOD? If you believe the marker is incorrect, I will make a note on the memorial.

Pagel Relation
My relation is from Kreis Naugard, not that it means much as there appears to be constant movement. How about yours, since you seem deep in genealogy.

Would you like these transferred to you?

Pagel photos
Here is a link to photos of some of the PAGEL markers at Concordia Cemetery. They cannot be uploaded to Find A Grave because they are from another website. However, you can at least look at them and learn more about the PAGEL family in Waushara County.

I've been using this website to add memorials to Find A Grave during the winter. It is fairly accurate, but there definitely are some errors - including people being listed in the wrong cemetery. However, it can be a very useful site.

RE: What is Winter? Lol
We've had less than average snow fall in Central Wisconsin, but it's been cold. This week we will have temperatures below zero at night. Brrrr! Send some warm air this way.

I'll keep an eye out for more Pagels in the area for you. Hopefully, the groundhog who predicted an early spring will be correct. However, the "official" ground hog in Wisconsin bit the ear of the mayor so who knows if the mayor got the prediction correct.
