Unknown Egge Stone
Possibly you know that a funeral home has to buy a burial permit and will know who purchased a stone, and very likely knows who the sexton is, or who has burial records. So checking with funeral homes might be helpful.
Hope you found what you were looking for.

RE: Unknown Egge Stone
In regards to the unknown Egge in the Old Garfield cemetery, I don't know if this is Christian or not. I am going to ask around a bit and see if anyone knows who has the cemtery records. The cemetery is between Lake Norden and Bryant, which is quite a ways from Brandon.

I would gladly turn the page over to you but I don't want to put the wrong name to the stone.
Give me a little while to do some checking. I will see if any of my friends know who the caretaker is. I hope it is your lost relative!

Verna Pagel parent correction
I realized I forgot to tell you I did indeed change this when you notified me of it. Thanks! Glad that Otto was 'found'!

Caroline Auguste Wilhelmine Pagel Goetsch
She is on Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. You have her marriage date wrong. She died in Apr 1938 and you have her marriage after her death in Nov 1938.
She is in my family tree. I believe she married in Nov 1877. LMM

RE: Otto Pagel
I think you have two Otto Pagels, one was the record that I had born in 1877 according to the marriage record to Minnie on Zion and the one buried at St. Peter's in the Town of Maine born later. And you have Verna the child a daughter of Minnie on Zion and a daughter of Otto on St. Peter's. So something isn't right there. Thought I would let you know.
Also I transferred Harry and Myrtle Pagel from Trinity in Town of Berlin to you.

RE: Otto Pagel
There is no record of Otto Pagel at Zion. There are only the two lady Pagels that you already have. That is why I thought he was at the other cemetery in the Town of Maine. You said previously that that Otto wasn't him, so I didn't even go there. Now it is so cold here, that unless it gets warmer again, I don't plan on going to any of the cemeteries till spring.

Hi Earl,
I was in Pine Grove, Wausau, WI today and got some Pagels but when I got home I saw most of what I took already had photos. I did fulfill August Pagel, the 1983 one. I just wanted you to know that the ones I got today were all in Block 21, lot 4. I put that on Augusts but I noticed it wasn't on the other ones. If you want to put that on their memorials let me know. I am going to get their memorial numbers write now so I don't forget. Have a great day.
