Unfortunately, she was only Hendrickson I saw listed in the cemetery record and she didn't have a headstone. So sorry they didn't have more information. Good luck!

The only problem is I don't know which memorials you mean. I have made so many. So you will have to tell me which ones you are talking about.

Earl, There is a third name on Carl and Blanch's stone, but I don't recall the name. I could check next time I'm there. The person was born in the 1930s and is not deceased. I try not to photograph stones or make memorials for living people due to identity theft issues. Glad I could help out, there are a lot of Pagel's in this area. Joan

I didn't go to the cemetery, but I found all these people listed in the cemetery inscriptions book in the library, so they have to be there. I don't know if I will get there. I do have people buried there, but not that many. You may post the photos for someone to find them. We have no snow, so it would be easy yet to take them yet this year.

You're very welcome.
I went to Old German Lutheran Cemetery trying to find about 45 markers without photos on them after I finished photographing Concordia Cemetery which is about one mile away. I found most of them but not all. I will be adding the others in the next few days or so (including one for Elsa Pagel).
I won't be going to any more cemeteries this week to take photos so I should have lots of time to upload photos. While I was at Old German Lutheran, I fell into a fairly deep animal hole and twisted my ankle. It's nothing serious, but I think a few days of computer work and playing cards at the Senior Center will be in order. Maybe Old German Lutheran Cemetery was trying to do in this old German Lutheran. :)

Thanks for the quick response. I will remove the memorials. Sorry for the mistake to begin with.

Earl there are actually 4 St. John's Cemeteries in Marathon County. One is too old and I know that one very well. It is in the Town of Stettin, Marathon Co., WI only has about 18 old stones on it. Then there is one in Rib Falls, Marathon Co., One in the Town of Hamburg Marathon Co. and then one near Wausau in the Town of Maine.

I did add his parents names to his memorial. The issue you describe is a common issue in all families when doing genealogy. Find A Grave is not the solution to the problem. Memorials should only be added for known dispositions of remains. It has been suggested by the admins that the recoding of the site will eliminated burial unknown memorials anyway.
