Bio

I've been researching my family genealogy for over 50 years. Along the way, when I find info that may be useful to other researchers, I share that and truly appreciate when others reciprocate. We all need all the help we can get!
If you have any corrections or additions to memorials I manage, please do contact me with the info. If you want to send me edits, I am truly glad to get them, but please don't send me guesses and maybe's. Please make sure the info is accurate before sending your edits. I thoroughly research all my edits before I send them, using legal records obtained online. I don't do guesswork.
Feel free to use/share any photos or info I have contributed, that's why I posted it!
If I have one of your family members, just ask for the transfer, I'm not one of those that cares more about my "numbers" than having families together. Those poor folks haven't figured out yet there is no prize or medal.

In case you're interested, I do "grave dousing" to locate unmarked graves.

A VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO:
Barbara Chittum Hutchens (#47335581) and KindredSpirit (48308454)
who contribute a great number of the obituaries and bio's posted on my memorials. Thanks, Barb! Thanks, Pam!

INFO ON CARROLL/GRAYSON COUNTIES COMES FROM THE DEDICATION AND HARD WORK OF THE FOLKS AT NEW RIVER NOTES. THIER SITE IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. IT IS A GREAT SITE FOR GENEALOGY RESEARCHERS, AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
YOU WILL FIND IT AT http://www.newrivernotes.com/index.htm

A neat little trick: When posting temporary grave markers, chose the "other" option instead of the "grave" option on the picture entry screen. This way, when folks pull up listings of unmarked graves, these memorials will show up as still needing a picture of the permanent stone, and they won't be overlooked.
