|Joe Holman||RE: Irvin's Son Verne|
Good morning, Thomas,
Here are the children of my grandfather, Robert Ivens Lotz:
Robert C Lotz, Jr (1916-2006)
Allen E Lotz (1918-1967)
Helen E Lotz Holman (1920-1994)
Edwin I Lotz (1922-1991)
Verne R Lotz (1926-) Note--Not to be confused with the Verne R Lotz who is buried at New Richmond.
I wrote a longer private message on your email yesterday. I thought that I might mention it, as I use email less these days in the era of Facebook and tend not to check it as often.
|Joe Holman||Irvin's Son Verne|
Please add to the list of Irvin and Jessie Lotz's children the name of Verne R. Lotz (November 25, 1895 to August 8, 1979). He and his wife Edna Eliason Lotz (1900-1982) are also buried at the New Richmond Cemetery. I met my Great Uncle Verne a couple of times in the 1960's. I thought he resembled my grandfather, Robert Ivens Lotz, who was the oldest of Irvin and Jessie's. I took photos of Irvin and Jessie's and of Verne and Edna's graves when I visited the cemetery in 2002. I also have an old photo, taken probably just before 1900, of Irvin seated with Robert and Verne on his lap. Joseph Holman
Hi Tom, Sorry if I had sent that already. Seemed kind of familiar, but wasn't sure, so I mentioned it. There is a duplicate for maybe her sister, too, but I got sidetracked. I'm sure you know about that one already. Or, maybe it was a second spouse for her husband? Name was Marie or Maria, I think, but I'm not at all positive. There were two stones in difference cemeteries. I'm doubtful that helps to narrow it down any, but it is all I can remember at the moment.

Hi, I have still been searching for Edward. I originally thought this small square stone was a family corner marker. It has the letter "B", but as I looked around I could not find the others. Just this small square stone next to the other Blewetts of the same type of stone. My guess is this is your Edward. If you agree let me know and I will post it on his memorial.

Hi, I just sent you seven files to the email address you have listed in your profile. I hope you find the information interesting and useful. I will continue to search for Edward, but I have searched around the Blewitt's stones and have had no luck. Let me know if you find any extra information. Take care, Kerin
