RE: H. Daniel Lowrey Headstone Photo
Mr. Ort,
First and foremost - thank you for your service. I must apologize. There were over 50 requests in this cemetery and I took a lot of pictures. I forgot to upload Mr. Lowery's military marker. If you go back to his page it is now there. Brian

George Harvey Parks
I fulfilled your photo request for George. I took this photo 3 years ago but did not post it because I had to use chalk to read it. The cemetery is back a ways into thick woods with no sunlight. The engraving is not deep, so it was impossible to read. I hope this is an acceptable photo. If not I will try to get one without the chalk.

RE: Sarah Alden Lapham
My pleasure. It's on of the easier headstones to decipher among the older ones there. Lot of algae and lichen on the older ones.

SARAH RAINES
I took several shots of SARAH T. RAINES in southern Grady Co., GA but although sharp & clear, they were not to my satisfaction for posting (2 cut off some of the data etched on the coverstone, the others were simply incomplete or did not take well). I plan to return in the near future.

CEMETERY INFORMATION
Don, Peter Barksdale WAS NOT buried at"CEDAR VIEW"
There were only 3 buried in the rock enclosed
cemetery behind the house and after the house
burned the Cemetery was also destroyed.I know a
lady that lived there in the summers with her
Grand-Parents and knows who was buried there, and
she is going to look for the photo she has of the
cemetery.
Buried there: Beverly Bakksdale 1, His 2nd wife
Judith Womack and their 8 year old son killed
after being ran over by an ox-cart.
There is another cemetery close by, that is real
over-grown, that I plan to photograph soon and
will let you know if I locate any Barksdales.

RE: EILEEN ORT HEADSTONE PHOTO
it is going to be below freezing for 9 days straight here. Heating bill was high last month, so I turned it down to 60 degrees...brrr..still hate to see the bill. I don't know how the birds and squirrels, etc. can take this. I am tired of it. donna
