Bio

I have been involved in genealogy for more than 30 years. I started researching in libraries and on microfilm at the National Archives before the internet made information so readily available. From my grandmother's handwritten notes I have been able to document and confirm the information passed down to me. I wish she was alive to see the results and what I have been able to build - she would be amazed.

Please make sure that information and family links provided on this site are accurate. "Genealogy without documentation is mythology."

My "rules" for Find A Grave are far simpler than many contributors:
1) Be nice.
2) If family provides additional or corrected information with reasonable proof, don't assume you know more than they do. You are, after all, a complete stranger.
3) If you manage a memorial and the person's great nephew would like to manage it, transfer it to them. This is not a contest. These are not baseball trading cards for you to collect. These are people's families, loved ones, memories.
