RE: Oliver Jackson & Anna DeBaun Copeland Hi, To Karen and anyone else who wants to use photos I have posted on FindAGrave - please do! The collection comes from my research and communication with living Copeland relations - as well as from the estate of Ralph Copeland who died in 2011. His minister sent me a bunch of boxes of photos - I scanned and posted as many as I could identify - and then forwarded them to his estate recipient, who has also since passed on. I don't think his heirs will do anything with the photos - so feel free to get them from whereever I posted them - on FindAGrave, ancestry.com, and my blog - www.anamericangenealogy.blogspot.com
My goal is to share information. By posting on FindAgrave I have heard from relatives who have lost their only photos through fires, floods, and other events. These photos and all information is meant to be shared for eternity!
RE: Daniel Davidson & Sarah White There are many Daniels, however, I assume you are referring to Daniel #40271919, born 1820. Are you related to him? There are several sources I used, but I'm not a genealogists, so I would be curious to know if I took a wrong turn.
RE: Franklin Cook Hays - Verm Co IL Franklin Cook Hays is listed as a physician in the 1860 census and his occupation is listed as a farmer in all census records following his service in the Civil War. I see you have posted an inquiry about the photography shop on Ancesty.com. My Hays/Cichon tree is on Ancestry & public, so feel free to look at it. I don't recall a Hays family member being a photographer, but you never know. If I come across something, I'll be sure to let you know.
