I was born July 30, 1948 in Zurich, Switzerland, where I spent my youth. I moved to the U.S. in 1984 and lived for more than 20 years in Tucson, AZ, where I was with the University of Arizona as a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering. I took early retirement in 2005 and returned to my home country of Switzerland. I am now again living in the Zurich area.
