Memorials #83233115, 83233130, 83233123, 83233121 The Find A Grave section under FAQ, Membership/Signing In, “What is a photo request?” mentions: “Many cemetery offices will only provide that information (exact grave location to photograph a possible marker) to relatives of the deceased and will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave location.”
There’s a reason more than 50 requests have not been realized for Woodlawn Cemetery in Green Bay, WI. I suggest you contact the office manager, Mary Lemirande, at (920) 432-6077 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn the exact location of Augusta Root #83233115, Warren Root #83233130, Infant Root #83233123, and Gladys Root #83233121, especially which Park (section) and names of individuals buried on each side (N,S,E,W) of your individual. Then, go back to your “Request A Photo” and add those “notes” so a photo volunteer can at least take a photo of the grassy plot if no marker is present. The cemetery does not usually have a record if or when a marker was placed at a grave site. Without the specifics, the only other suggestion I have is to remove your request. Thank you!
Hoping you can help me out. I'm researching the Franklin and Lucinda Pletcher Root family. They had no children of their own, but adopted William H. Stigenwalt (b. 1866) and his younger sister Effie. William later legally changed his last name to Root. Thought I had found him in census records married to Addie and living in Iola as did his adoptive parents, but this entry shows this William as Jacob Root's son. Do you have any information on William H. Stigenwalt Root? His adoptive mother's obituary has a little detail: Memorial# 88413625. Appreciate any help you can provide.
wm e cates bob on wm e cates death doc does ot show who his parents were I am still looking for my photos we added in 2010 to cates cemetery when we took the cemetery looks like someone added new photos there
Gravesite photo request http://cemeterycensus.com/nc/durh/cem021.htm MT. LEBANON PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH list burial records, and photos, unfortuantely there is no photo of the site you requested. I was going to check but I see someone else says they looked and were unsuccessful.
I married a Cates, and did the Cates research for my kids. I was lucky to live in the area where they lived here in KY and met up with a few other researchers. I have uploaded a PDF with the tree for WE Cates. Unfortunately, I have not "verified" the information myself, but the people I got the info from were confident in their research, with records, etc. I do not doubt its validity.
The cemetery record for Gladys states she died 28Feb1922 at age 13y 7m 11d and the daughter of George. However, there is no record of a George ROOT buried in Woodlawn. Walked Park (section) "D" twice and did not locate a marker for Gladys. There is a ROOT marker though and is for Marvin E. and Ottilia G. Marvin 1878-1972 Age 92y. Ottilia 1882-1966 Age 84y. Have a photo of this stone marker if interested. There are a total of 20 ROOT entries in Woodlawn Cemetery records.
