A Psalm of David. The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

|Johnie W Huckeba Jr||Washington Green "WG" Huckeba Memorial|
Thanks for creating this memorial. Washington Green Huckeba was my 2nd Great Grandfather and I along with several other family researchers continue to try and locate his place of burial. I submitted several edits to update and correct some of the information on his memorial and added a photo.
Thanks and Regards!

Your memorial appears to be a duplicate. A memorial for Mr. Williams was made on August 11th by another contributor.

|DON SHARP||RE: Garland Kenneth Gray|
Sorry that his marker inscription is not very clear. I tried several settings to try and get it more legible. Take care,

I see you are friends with Janie Light. She and I share the same aunt. We celebrated our aunt's 97th b'day over the Memorial Day weekend. We couldn't pass up a chance to go tombstone hopping one afternoon. Small world!

|DON SHARP||RE: Checking up on you.....|
Thanks for checking in...I'm doing well; hope you are. Since ancestry has taken over findagrave and edits are pretty automated now...member contact has been reduced. One of my best friends lost his 16 yr. battle with prostate cancer this past Sunday. The memorial service is tomorrow and I will be giving my first eulogy; please say a little prayer that I will not embarrass myself and get overcome with emotions. Alon was like an older brother to me. Our group of friends were very active. We enjoyed running, hiking, camping/fishing, & biking. Life is too too short. He was 66 yrs. old.
Thanks again for checking in on me. Please let me know when you come to Carrollton.
|Janie Light||RE: 65213067 Claudia Mote Jordan|
In her obit, she is survived by two sons, Floyd and Carl Mote - thus she first married Grover C Mote. She is also survived by a step-son, Ralph Jordan - thus she 2nd married Leon K. Jordan. She is also survived by one brother, Albert Todd, thus her maiden name of Todd.
In the 1940 census, she and her 2nd husband Leon K Jordan are living with Carl Mote and his family. Claudia is listed as Carl's mother and Leon as his step-father.
Claudia Todd married G. C. Mote 1/13/1907 in Carroll Co., GA.
Claudia Mote married Leon Jordan 3/30/1924 in Carroll County, GA.
Let me know if you need additional information.
WOW!! I have sent the "Elizabeth Jackson" message to the wrong person. I am so sorry, I don't know how I pulled your name up. I think I need to take a break! Again I want to apologize for my error. So sorry, Marson
