And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. KJV

Myrtie's first marriage on Dec 19, 1907 was to Vasco Spence who died on Nov 22, 1919. She married a second on April 5, 1922 to George David Simpkins b. Nov 16, 1893. I'm sorry for the confusion.
Hope you are doing well.

Do you have any further info? I found a Headstone form for veteran Woodson Pollard died April 1921, buried in Golden Cem in Haralson, stone placed in May 1939. There are 2 Goldin's, any help appreciated.

Hightower Funeral home in Bremen probably had the service. If I can't locate the grave easily, I'll call Richard Hightower to give me some clues.

Your very welcome, I went to 8 cemeteries this morning, glad I could help you out. I can't believe that once I got home; I realized I missed 2 graves that I specifically went to take photos of. Alzheimer's does run in my family! Hope you are doing well. You take care. I will try to get to Pleasant View next week. Any clues to who he Pollard) might be buried near?

Sorry to hear about your health issues...I hope you will continue to improve and will be much better for the Spring season. Louise marker is a single marker. The local genealogy society did a cemetery survey in 2006 and if there was a marker in place at the time, the person was listed in the cemetery book. There are a lot of people listed that are still living, especially in the perpetual care cemeteries since many individuals have purchased markers and have had them installed while they are still living. Those individuals are also listed in the 2 cemetery books. I noticed that Louise's husband must be buried with his second wife at Clem Cemetery. I don't believe there were any Terrell or Helton family buried near Louise's marker. Hope you continue to improve and please keep in touch. The next time I'm out on the east side of town, I will get the photo at Shiloh for you.
