Infant Son Bowers
Cheryl,
You have the headstone photo for my distant cousin at Weaver Cemetery, Sullivan County, TN.
Memorial# 140344182 is for Infant Son Bowers.
Would it be ok to use your photos on my Ancestry.com family tree? I will include (Find-a-Grave photo & permission by Cheryl) for each photo I use.
Thanks Wanda Pierce Johnson #47818424

Amelia and John Broyles, Weaver Cemetery
Thank you so much for the photos of Amelia and John Broyles' grave markers. A special thanks for fulfilling my request in DECEMBER, not always the best month for searching for graves!

Happy Holidays to you and yours,

Patricia

RE: Odum - Booker Cemeteries
Hi, Cheryl,

These do appear to be the same cemetery. We always knew it as the Smith cemetery since it located on the property that was owned by W.L. (William Lawson) and Harriet Smith. I'm not sure how it became the Odum Cemetery. The Odums lived farther down Old Jonesboro Road. When I was down there in 2012 I found Harriet's headstone but couldn't find W.L.'s. I know he is buried right beside her but the stone must have been covered with dirt. They are my paternal grandparents. Nancy

Hazel Almany
Hi Cheryl,
I would love to submit a photo of Hazel's gravesite for you but unfortunately the family never purchased a marker for her. If you are a family member and would like to contact us about that or if you know who the surviving family is and would like to send them our way we would be happy to assist.

Eliza Schweitzer memorial
It was our pleasure to search out this memorial and clean it up. I wish I could send you a photo we took of our group. We must have spent an hour or so clearing the marker, washing it, and trying to read the inscription on it. We have a pretty good idea of what it says now and our teen age girls loved trying to solve this mystery. Our cousins live next door to the cemetery and we were here on vacation.
