I am retired almost four years from the govt and have been doing my family research about two years. I'm stuck on finding family that is still living and finding photos of those that have passed. My families have immigrated from Germany, Poland and Yugoslavia. Not fluent in any of those languages so my research is stalled for now. Happy to help anyone that needs a photo taken, please do your best to find the grave location.|
Would love some help researching a few names for birth and death info from Germany, Poland and Yugoslavia websites on Ancestry.com.
Ancestry name is georgiashirley_1. Looking for descendants of Herman and Augusta Groth in Germany/Chicago; Louis and Minnie Timm/Chicago; Guntzberger/Germany/Chicago, Jerbic - Yugoslavia, Poland, Chicago; George and Catherine Miller, Germany/Chicago.
Also looking for family of Anna Ritlop, Chicago and Germany.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for finding this gravestone! I'm doing my family's research, and so many of them are at Resurrection Cemetery, I can't find them all. You are amazing.

Thanks a lot - no real rush, and if you do already have Frank Marnen, there is an open request you can fill. Jim-S.

Hi again Shirley,
When you took the pics of the Marnen's stones (Mary's maiden name was Zefran) did you happen to notice any Zefran's in the same area? I ask because I've had a request in for awhile for Slavi Zefran, the 1 year old infant son of John Zefran and his wife Mary Gimpel Zefran, who I think may be with him, or any others? If so I'll add requests for them.
Thanks again, Jim-S.

Hi Shirley and thanks for all you do for F-A-G!
I saw that in addition to Mary J Zefran Marnen (134273041) stone you also have her husband Frank. I just added a memorial for him (145796534) and also a request for his pic so you can get credit for it. Can you see the B & D dates on the stone?
Thanks so much. Jim-S. 04/29/2015

Thank you for cleaning off Fred's grave marker. How sad when someone is forgotten by their family. I have about 20 more WWII KIA soldiers at Resurrection Cemetery that need grave photos. Do you think you'll be able to get some of them?

Thanks for adding the picture. It's always nice when a photo request from Resurrection Cemetery gets filled.
