RE: Swartz gravestone It was just by chance. I had been at Forest View cemetery trying to satisfy the photo requests. A friend and I have entered most and photographed all of the headstones in the cemetery so it was highly likely there was no headstone. We finished working on Forest View about two years ago.
Our new project is Riverview cemetery in Portland. I had just photographed section 11. When I searched the obituary in the Oregonian and found them at Riverview cemetery, I couldn't believe it. I'm not done entering folk in the section so hadn't entered them there yet.
It was all just a fluke I found them and had already taken the photo at Riverview.
RE: Brake Cemetery photos Your welcome. Did you know that at the Dorcas cemetery there is listed 30 graves for the Kettermans and Bergdolls. Aaron I believe married a Bergdoll. No rocks with writing or stones. I wonder if that isn't where the first Aaron is buried? No better person to figure out this info. Talked to Norma Ours and she said they never knew where he was buried but it made sense due to where he lived.
Mary Swartz Hi Derek! I am transferring this memorial to you. We were hoping it was the Mary Swartz we were looking for but she was the wrong person. Our Mary was married to a Jacob Swartz who is buried in Clymer cemetery nearby. I am glad to transfer it to a family member and your more than welcome.
RE: Bergdoll Elva gravestone photo You're welcome! My family is buried there, and I decided to fill requests. This was the only one I found on my first visit. If I go again, I'll definitely look for others. Take care!
