The Genealogy Society of South Whidbey Island was initially formed as a club in 1989. It has since evolved into a 501c3 non-proffit organization dedicated to helping members trace their ancestral roots. Our website can be found at GSSWI.org.

All Find A Grave memorials added by our society are the result of the extensive cemetery work done by our members, primarily Ralph Seefeld, who has done more than any single individual to preserve Island County Records for posterity.
