Bio

I've been a history buff for many years, and because of that, I've dabbled in family geneology a bit (since they go together rather well). My family (Wernick) migrated to America in the 1840's and settled near Dixon, Illinois (where I was born and raised).
I am also a Civil War and WWII buff - My G-Grandfather participated in the Civil War in the 75th ILL Infantry, and my mother's brother was killed in WWII in August 1944. Hence, I collect Civil War memorabilia and WWII vehicles (three to-date). I'd be happy to photograph any gravesite in my area if requested.
