Bio and Links
Bio Photo Retired: Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice - Parole Division.

Please visit my great grandfather Giacomo Di Dia / De Dia who immigrated over to the United States from Sicily!

Hobbie: Ancestry and Genealogy, Computer Hardware & Software, Computer Arts & Graphics.

Even though I'm glad to help others with updates and even when I run across past obituaries and I transcribe them, please leave the information intact as they are written and give credit where credit is due. Glad to be here to do my research and help others in return. I don't expect anything else in return, and I don't ask for money, even though I have spent more then my wife would allow. LOL.

RE: Thank you for photograhing
You're very welcome. Just an FYI, the grave for Dorothy, Joseph, Stephen and Florence is next to the one for Giuseppe, Alfonsa, Bernard, Mary and Freda. Blk 14, sec B, gr 323 and 324.

RE: Philomena Trosa
Are you sure that is her in the 1940 Census? Does everything match up on her death certificate, if so, then that may not be her in the 1940 census. If so, then who is the person in that grave?

RE: Marsala, Sicily Cemetery
Hi Kenny, I had your number somewhere but misplaced it. Our family line is from Salemi and Vita. After spending over $1000 with Giovanni he was able to uncover 10 generations for me. There is one headstone at that cemetery with a photo of her and I'm sure there are more but he wants to charge me $150 per headstone and that is too much for me. The Salemi cemetery does not exist. If you know anyone in that area could take some photos, boy would I appreciate that. It is 45 minutes from Giovanni's location.
