Dymond Hollow UMC- PA-Cemetery Hi! I noted your photo of the graveyard at Dymond Hollow UMC.Did you know that they closed that church as of July 2015? I understand the property is subject to disposal. There was a clause in deed that it revert to the existing family and lawyers were looking gat it.
I'm concerned about the records and graves there. Do you or does anyone know how to access same? There was a newspaper article online about the closure.
Thank you soooo much Hello. I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for the pictures you put up of my grandmother Bessie Rogers and my Aunt Ruth Rogers. I found this site while on ancestry.com and was brought to tears when I clicked the link and saw her burial stone. I have not been able to visit in over twenty years so there are no words to express how thankful I am to you for giving me the opportunity to see it once more.
Frank W. Williams D. Not sure if you had a question about Frank, this is the correct cemetery, I have been there to take the picture and know the area well. Brookside is the "Black" section of Cross Creek Cemetery #2. They are right beside each other.
Northside cemetery is located a few miles north of this cemetery, right off of North Street. This too is a predominantly African American cemetery.
RE: McLaurin's Cemetery Did I have someone buried in the wrong cemetery? I have not been on findagrave doing listings for some times. Please bring me up to speed. Use my email address so I get your notes and they don't end up in spam. Thank you.
