Would you mind if I use your photos for Berta Reed (memorial #20106503) for my Ancestry.com and Family Search sites? I will gladly give you credit for the original photos on this site.
Thank you so much for your work in uploading these photos to help the rest of us in our search for our ancestors.

I thought of that, too, after I sent you the letter. I checked in Ancestry.com and nowhere I found is he listed as a doctor; that doesn't mean he wasn't, I just can't verify that he was. I say leave it as it is till we find more info.

I went to Peytonsville Methodist Church and took some pictures. At the time, I wasn't sure if anyone had put pages up for the interments but you got most of them. I was able to read the writing for John Read and the dates are: B - 25 Dec 1825, D - 4 Mar 1858.
I was thinking you can put the dates on the page.
Also ... I'm not sure that the last name is Reid. It looked like Reidm.d as if it was short for Reidmond. But it started to rain and I didn't get a real good look. I think it'll have to be looked at around noonish when the sun's angle is right. I'm in Columbia, so I won't be able to just drop by any time. Maybe some day ....

|Tina Kimbell||Laura McGee Amick Anderson|
I was wondering if you would transfer this memorial to me. Laura was my paternal great grandmother. Her first husband was James Rufus Poteete; second husband, F. H. Amick; third husband, Stan Anderson. Her memorial # is 68052608. My contributor # is 48383984. Thank you for putting her grave on this site. She was the reason I became interested in genealogy!
|Phil||McGees in Poteete Cemetery|
I was wondering if you came across my great great grandfather Frank McGee (also known is Jesse Henry Franklin McGee) who died on Apr 17, 1918, and his mother Arlene (also known as Sallie McGee) who died on Nov 26, 1911 and her husband James McGee (unknown death date). Thanks so much.
