Or if the stone & monument are hard to read - I'd have to send for both if they were dif. info of course.
|donna swan schauss||RE: Emma Patterson|
I re-ck'd the pics of stones and not sure if it has the m in Wm on the original grave stone. So it may not be dif. after all. But the pt being is that it would be best to use the transcription of the original old stone that's hard to read & I think in this case I didn't want to delete what you already had. What I'll do in the future is replace the info on a family monument with the info from an old grave stone that's hard to read when I send an edit req.

You have memorial 65174155 for James M Bigham in Union Cemetery Richburg, S.C. James has numerous children which I have listed on Gertrude' memorial. Do you know where any of her siblings are buried. Gertrude and Sammie are buried in lot with parents. There appears to be possibly two more unmarked graves. Gertrude's grave is not marked but she is buried in a vault, which is labeled. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I am Randall Wright's great-granddaughter! This is great, maybe you have some answers for me because I've tried for quite a while to fill in the blanks for George & Electa.
Randall & Henrietta had seven children: Albert Wright; Franklin Andrew Wright; Electa Wright; Nancy Alice Wright; George Adelbert "Dell" Wright, Ellen Wright; and Elmer Ellsworth Wright. I am descended from their son Dell Wright. I really don't have much info about the Hinman side, sorry. I've always wondered about George & Electa because by the records they were married in 1865 and then by the 1880 census Electa was back living with her parents in Wisconsin and George was living in Iowa with his parents? After that it's a mystery because I can't find them on a 1900 census record, although they are buried together in Wisconsin! I assume that they never had any children? Of course, to add to the confusion there was another George Hinman nearly the same age, born in New York and living in Iowa in 1900!
All I have for George is that his parents (I think....) were Percival & Sarah (Larck) Hinman.
Thanks for linking Electa to her parents...I have searched all the Hinman's to try and find his father, Percival's grave on F.A.G. but no luck. I did find a Sarah Hinman buried in the Kelso Cemetery in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, but have no idea if that's actually her.
That's about all I know!
I'm related to you via this family. My Grandmother was Beulah Hammack McCormick. Thanks for putting the family on find a grave.

See memorial number 139333356. Mrs Collins had a good Obit. She had brothers and sister who I could not locate. If you know anything about them could you link them to her parents. At Union ARP Church Cemetery a large number of memorials were deleted and I have put them back in, but I am sure there was a lot of information lost. Thank you for your knowledge of the Bigham family. Anything you can add to the Bighams at Union I would appreciate.

Thank you for your kind words! I love walking and photographing the old stones - and have a whole bunch more to add as time permits - I felt bad when I kept submitting edits, and hoped you didn't mind.... and I apologize for any duplicate photos I put up- that is the one thing about the new upload feature that I don't care for - I wish it would show any photos that are already on the memorials so a decision could be made to add another or just skip it! Maybe someday. Hoping you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Steph
