I began my family history research in the early 1970's, took a break, then began genealogical research again, with a passion, about 10 years ago. I was born and raised in Jasper County, Missouri, my husband in Lawrence County, Missouri. The majority of our paternal and maternal ancestors have been in Missouri since the early 1800's, predominately southwestern counties, so we have family in numerous cemeteries in that area. Find A Grave has been an invaluable tool in my research and I am now beginning to "pay back" by contributing. Also, I have to admit that I find it difficult to drive by an interesting looking cemetery -- and aren't they all -- without stopping to look around. Think I'll put that curiosity to good use by honoring photo requests.
