Bio

Six year genealogical researcher, well-versed in the history of southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina.

My direct family line includes a *LOT* of different surnames, but my primary focus is on the following lines:

Milliken, Smith, Clemmons, Hogan, Benton, Bozeman, Faircloth, Matthews, Hefner, Hewett, Wilson, Hickman, Robinson, Martin, Long, Frink, Gore, and Carlisle.

I am looking for any information about the following people:

Edward Hewett (Husband of Betsey Arnold)
Walter Hefner
Bessie E. Smith
Languish Smith
Frances A. Williamson Smith
Andrew Jackson Hogan
Emma Jane Hewett Clemmons
Spencer Bozeman
Elma Bozeman Green
Reba Doretha Hewett Bozeman
Etheldred Bozeman Jr.
Simon Milliken
Isabelle McKeithan Milliken
Isabelle "Libby" Little Milliken
Orilla Lambert Hickman

Any help would be appreciated.

The primary sources of information for my suggested corrections are (but are not limited to):

The Spirit of Living In and Around Calabash by Captain Harold Hickman

Sketches of the Bozeman family, by Rev. Joseph Woodruff Bozeman

Let's Meet the Gores, by B. Otis Prince

History of the families Millingas and Millanges of Saxony and Normandy, by Gideon Tibbetts Ridlon

Early Pee Dee Settlers by John Maxcy Gregg

North Carolina Troops, 1861-1865: A Roster by Louis H. Manarin

The Landed and Personal Estate of Gen. Joseph Bridger by William P.Carrell II

Feel free to contact me for the following reasons:

1. Photo requests for Brunswick, Columbus, or Horry County cemeteries
2. Information about one of my direct family lines

If you happen to be descended from some of the same families (Or you have one of the copies of the Moses Milliken Bible), I would appreciate any contributions of family records, photos, stories, or other information.
