I am interested in the families descending from Elder Jacob Cropsey, John Murray, Aspinwall P. Straight, Asahel Chillson, Isaac Gilbert, Silas Bowen, Benjamin Bridge, and Consider Hyland. I have lots of family info on these lines. I'm also interested in the family of John and Bridget McQuaid of Wisconsin and Alois Schaumberg of Mineral Point WI.

I have 163 unidentified photos of people from these families on a Pinterest board at If you have photos of these families, would you look at the board and see if you can identify any of them. One of my genealogical goals is to get names on all the old photos.

RE: Margaret Burghardt
Hi Dianne,

I was trying to read the headstone inscription from the picture that I took today and from what I could read, the date of death was March 6(or 16), 1879 and she was 73 years 4 months. I didn't see any Burghardts next to her marker. I will be going back over to St. Mary's in the coming days and photographing the entire cemetery (adding them to Find A Grave).

Yours Truly,
LeRoy A.

RE: Murrays
There are two Chillisquaque Cemeteries. The one in Montour County is where the Murrays are buried. The memorial sites in the Northumberland County cemetery are incorrect. I've tried for over a year to get the person who created the original memorials in the Northumberland County cemetery to correct the error, with no luck. Find a grave now manages those memorials and I sent in a request today for them to make the corrections. If they do, they will probably delete my memorials and move the data from the Northumberland Co. memorials to the Montour County Cemetery (since they predate mine). Hope this helps. Barry

Judi Engels
Hi Diane
I took a look at your pinterest board. I did not see anything specifically labeled as either Schaumberg or Mineral Point. Have you already identified those?

RE: Engles family
Thank you for your note. I am very familiar with Viola, she is one of my favorites. I am a bet more interested in your connection. Are you an Engels? I was interested in the variation of the spelling in your letter to me.
