Johann Christian Thoma Memorial in Winter Cemetery
Hi Ruth,

I'm contacting you in hops that you have more info for the memorial you created and manage for Johann Christian Thoma in Winter Cemetery in York County, Pennsylvania:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSsr=441&GSmcid=47445832&GRid=87751069&

Are you related to this gentleman?

I'm asking because my Thomas surname was originally Thoma and our first US relative Johannes THOMA initially settled in Pennsylvania. His father was Albrecht THOMA (b:1658 d:October 07, 1731 in Neuenbürg, Bishopric of Speyer, (now) Baden-Württemberg, Germany)

So, I'm curious if the gentleman in this memorial is related to our Thoma line.

If you have any info or suggestions, I would love to pick your brain for info.

Thanks!

Russ Thomas

William Tom Collins
Tom was a veteran of the Civil War. He served with the 114th Regiment, Co.F Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry also known as the Collis' Zoaves.

Could this be added to his "find a grave" posting? Thanks

Bussell
Can you possibly tell me the lot that Eleanor Gunning Bussell rests in at Leverington Cemetery. There are many Bussells there, but, she had left my gt gt grandfather many years before and they aren't buried together. He is in Lot 16 Sec 3 Div C, John A. Bussell. I thought she may have been buried with members of the Gunning family, but, haven't found them there.
Thank you,
Marilyn Ibanez

My pleasure.

If you ever get the opportunity to come to Oregon---the Willamette National Cemetery is very beautiful trees, views of the mountains, deer, birds, etc. It is only 10mins from the Portland Airport.
