RE: Shady Lane Cemetery Bailey/Carpenter monument
I suppose I should've found the stone earlier, but it's a problematic cemetery. I was thrilled to see that I could close several requests with a lucky sighting.

Charles Arthur Chase 1857-1925
I am writing the first spreadsheet from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas, which were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas. Charles Arthur Chase (1857-1925) created the CHASE ELECTRIC CYCLORAMA in the old CHICAGO FIRE panorama on Michigan between Madison and Monroe. This is recorded in SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN February 22,1896. UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE: Reproducing Device dated August 27,1895;Stereopticon Panorama Machine dated August 27,1895;Stereopticon Panorama machine dated September 3,1895; CHICAGO TRIBUNE,Thursday, August 16,1894.MAGIC, STAGE ILLUSIONS,SPECIAL EFFECTS AND TRICK PHOTOGRAPHY, compiled by Albert A. Super! Thanks for adding the memorial. I was going to do it but was busy. I added the photo for you on Dorothy's memorial.

It's my pleasure!
