RE: De Witt Griffin at Margaretville
Also posted another stone for another Dewitt Griffin that was behind this one. Probably a son?

Glad to help.

RE: Nathan Salisbury
It says the edit was accepted but it still isn't changed. I put in another edit so we can try it again.

RE: Josephine Vallette at Acotes Hill
My wife and I both thought it was odd that she not be buried there, our thinking being that most mothers would want to be with their child. I did and will continue to search any "Stone" family plots, though I haven't found any in that vicinity. I am in that cemetery often as I live in town, so it is no trouble.

You're welcome. Also, can you please approve the GPS edit I put in? It is incorrect.

RE: Stones at Clarks Green
Hello Virginia,

I goofed. I don't know where I pulled "Robert" from, but he certainly is not in the Stone plot. (I drove over to Clarks Green to confirm that indeed there is no "Robert") In my earlier post, please insert the name "Charles R." everywhere that I typed "Robert" and then this mystery should be solved. You can also delete "Robert"'s page as he does not exist. Sorry for running you around in circles.

RE: Stones at Clarks Green
Hello Virginia,

Is it possible that Alta is Robert's child? Her stone is within inches of Robert's stone. (she on left, he on right)He would have been about 25 when she was born. Do you have any paperwork that might indicate if Charles was married and if any children existed?

Best regards,

Margaret Gertrude Stone
Hello Virginia,

I finally found Margaret's memorial. It was almost entirely overgrown by grass. Her parents monuments appear here on F-A-G, but there are several other people whom I believe may be related to her and are buried very near to her without memorials on F-A-G.
Hattie F. 1865-1886
Mary Inez 1851-1876
Charles R. 1858-1905
Alta 1883-1887

If you can confirm that any or all of them are in the same family as Margaret, I will post their pictures also.

RE: David Bassett at Fairview Cemetery
Your welcome. I notice that you added Hattie's first husband. I considered doing that, but wasn't 100% sure that Fairview Cemetery was the same as "Farnumsville" in the old records. The Lambert book lists them separately, but he's not infallible, heaven knows! :-)

At any rate, I'll be doing more photography at Fairview, so maybe we'll find them. I suspect she's buried with the first husband.
