Bio

Born and raised in Logansport, Cass Co, Indiana. Spent 34 years teaching grades 6, 7 and 8 . . . don't roll your eyes and look shocked. I was in "hog heaven" with this age group as strange as it might sound to most sane adults.

I retired in 2006 and we moved to my husband's hometown between Buffalo an Niagara Falls, right on the Niagara River. Buying laptops and getting bored, my husband and I both started our trek into our families history. I knew I was interested in family history when I taught 8th grade biology. The final project for my students was making a Family Tree. I was amazed at the number of them who were related to me through my maternal great grandfather. Amazing man, 1st child was born in 1840 while my grandfather was born in 1882 when his older siblings had already started their families. My grandfather was the only child born to his third wife, who died several months after he was born. His first two wives had died and now #3 dies. His fourth wife, who live a long life, raised my grandfather.
