Bio
While attempting to sort out one of my mystery ancestors' stories, I stumbled upon Findagrave and, lo and behold - a photograph of the grave of my mystery relative. I've been hooked ever since.
Documenting graves combines things that bring me peace - photography, walking in cemeteries, connecting to history, and helping others.
When taking volunteer photos I will almost always take more photos than I post, especially of obvious family members' graves. Please contact me if you'd like me to receive either more photos or photos in a higher resolution format than the site allows.
Feel free to use, for personal genealogy purposes (documenting death, memorializing, or honoring your ancestor), any photos I post. Please ask permission for any other use.
I will be happy to transfer ownership of non-family memorials to ancestors of the deceased who are committed to improving and maintaining the memorial.
