In 1974 as a family, we started doing research on "Daddy's" side (all Cowles in USA are related - easy). Yes, I'm a Yankee, and all my family is up North, and I'm here in southwest Virginia. So, I'm trying to help the folks who aren't here, or who can't go to where their love ones are buried. I'VE MOVED BACK TO INDIANA AND AM LIVING IN STARKE COUNTY INDIANA (as of January 2013).|
If anyone wants a memorial transferred to them, please let me know. You don't have to "prove it" like I see some people want you to do. Just let me know, and it'll be in your care!
I just saw a "blanket" permission by another graver to use his photos. Good idea...you may use any I took AND use any I entered of people as well IF you'll give the credit line "PROVIDED BY" as I do. Remember all the photos I have added may not be mine. Please double check before entering the name of the provider. Thanks.
NOTE- WHEN A FEMALE IS BURIED UNDER A SURNAME OTHER THAN WHAT SHE WAS BORN WITH....I use "Unknown" as a maiden name until someone proves a correct maiden name. It shows that the last name on the memorial is NOT HER BIRTH NAME, BUT A MARRIED NAME AND NOTHING MORE.
I HAVE REMOVED MY E-ADDRESS FROM THIS SITE BECAUSE I'VE BEEN HACKED - SORRY! But I'm still active, alive and well. Please just post a message, and I will get it done.

My great grand father was Victory Satterlee
|satterlee||need Satterlee information|
One wanted item not solved in my line
If you want to participate...
I still haven't found where my grandmother is buried
She died as Ona I Satterlee In Flint, Mi. at Hurly Hospital
death record says.place of burial or removal [ Frankfort Mi. ]
She was born as Isadore Snider
other research spelling through the years was Snyder
With your knowledge, Is there a way to put a memorial in Find A Grave
with this death information [ Frankfort, Michigan] but not have a known cemetery?
If so, also put a photo request on it?, this way someone may find the grave.
No hurry to reply back. Thank you. Ron Satterlee

|Betty Frain||William R. Pearce - h/o Piera C. Pearce|
Please note that William is listed as buried in Michigan, with photo, but also included on Piera's tombstone as buried in Gate of Heaven in Silver Spring. Do you know if you was moved? I am adding a memorial for him as I would assume from the GofH photos he is buried there. What do you think?
|Eldred Pickett||John Oliver at Mount Hazel Cemetery(Detroit)|
Can you contact the City of Detroit to get a grave location? I haven't been able to find a stone for him yet. The last number I knew for the responsible department was 313-224-1103. If they can give you a location, it may narrow down my search area...

I don't know where Margaret is buried. We couldn't find a headstone for Margaret in the Baljennie cemetery, so either she is unmarked or buried elsewhere. Maybe in another local cemetery or perhaps in Port Alberni, B.C. where her daughter went? My largest source of knowledge for the Lachman family is from Baljennie Reaches Far (a local history available on Our Roots Nos Racines website) p.37 article entitled "Abe and Margaret Lachman submitted by Lucille Surry." An obituary would likely give the place of burial; the likeliest newspaper would be the North Battleford News Optimist.

Hi! Thank you so much for the transfer! Was going to tell you if the info did not post alright to let me know. I'm so glad you found and located his memorial stone there. Thanks again and God bless! :-) -J

You are welcome Margaret. I don't like those time stamps either. The photos look much nicer without it.

|Linda ||RE: Holy Hope Cemtery in Tucson|
Addl pics have been posted for the Caruanas'.
Holy Hope Cemetery isn't very picturesque--neither the grounds or the mausoleum. Even tho the sun is shining, it is difficult to get half decent pics as either too much shadow or too much light!

|Paul Sutton Kamalsky||Massecar|
It turns out that Enoch Massecar is not on lot 268 as listed in the
book. He is beside his daughter Edith, who is beside her mother on
AD II-23. I posted his stone photo to his memorial and photos of the
stone of Edith to hers as well as the perspective photos
