I have had mtDna tests run and still trying to fill in the blanks for the "unk women" especially. I have public trees on Ancestry.com and have been a member of this and affiliate sites, for over a decade; as well as www.Genforum.com Born in IL, grew up in the Ark/La/Tx area..mostly Shreveport, LA and E.Tx..Have Cook/Carter Kin in Cass Co. Pittser G-parents, buried in Gregg Co. I live in Arlington, Gilliam Co., OR and there's an old cemetary here that's been cleaned up. I believe it's now been recorded and cataloged and is available online, here.
I am looking to find what happened to my "unknown" G-grandmother, Lydia Ann Carter and her mother, Susan Malena Barton-Carter, who were in Knox Co.,KY 1880..(no 1890 Census info) Then show up in Hunt Co, Tx Census 1900; but, Lydia's family is shown back in Bell Co.,Ky for the 1910 Census; then she's back in Tx as a housekeeper for John Edward Story, in East Tx, by 1920. That's the last recorded info, on Lydia. Anyone knowing more, I'd really appreciate hearing from them..Thx: [email protected]
