We live 45 miles south of Buffalo, NY, in the tiny rural community of Riceville. I am trained in veterinary homeopathics, herbs, holistic remedies and naturopathy. Former wildlife rehabbers, now foster feral cat colony. Our Catholic faith and prayer life always comes first. My husband and I love exploring cemeteries. It helps to fulfill our passion for genealogy and helping others. As of November 2020, I still cannot work as I continue to struggle with complications following surgery in July 2012 and four surgeries in 2019. I apologize for not responding to your messages in a timely manner or fulfilling photo requests. But, recently, a few have been done! As TV's Aunt Martha Corrine Walton said, "Neglected graves are a shameful thing." I am respectful around all graves and clean up the weeds as best I can, repositioning fallen decorations, and placing flowers, pennies or a pretty pebble, especially for children and veterans. Thanks for your prayers and patience.

Speaking of prayer...........The Souls of the Faithfully Departed (also called Holy Souls) are members of the Church awaiting purification of their souls before joining the saints in heaven for all eternity. We can and ought to pray for them as an act of charity to hasten their entrance into heaven.
"Merciful Father, hear our prayer and console us. As we renew our faith in your Son, whom You raised from the dead, strengthen our hope that all our departed brothers and sisters will share in His Resurrection, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen."
