Bio

I have worked on my Genealogy surnames for over 40 years. I have many data banks with cemeteries cataloged. I may have a photo for you. I am from the Buffalo, NY, Erie County area. I also have an old NY Telephone Phone book available for look ups, but you must have an address. I take photos of houses, work places and cemetery photos. I am a Member of Evans Historical Society.

My PHOTO POLICY:
-- All contributor-posted photographs are intended for PERSONAL USE, unless stated otherwise. As such, and to comply with current Copyright Law, you SHOULD NOT post (and/or republish) any contributor's cemetery or tombstone photos elsewhere without permission.

-- Regarding my cemetery and tombstone photographs, specifically, I will usually grant permission for unaltered OTHER USE when asked, but with the added stipulation that you provide a photo source citation (by referencing both "Find A Grave" [or www.findagrave.com] AND my profile name AND #47465058 in the Description) for any photographs taken from this website; for example, "Photo courtesy of Find A Grave Contributor: Linda C. Arthur (Orcutt), #47465058".

If you choose not to do this one SIMPLE thing, then I will work to have my copied photos removed - as I retain the copyright on ALL photographs that I have taken and posted. It is actually NOT acceptable to just indicate you took the photo from Find A Grave (since this site does not own the copyright to any of the contributor-posted photographs).

-- Note that you can provide a link back to the Find A Grave memorial, instead of copying (i.e. Ancestry's built-in "weblinks" function can be used for this exact purpose). This option works quite well.

-- Finally, Please do not download and then republish any family portraits I post, as these come from private family collections.
