Bio and Links
Bio Photo Lifelong resident of northeastern Illinois, I enjoy visiting the cemeteries and searching out headstones, photographing and posting them and trying to weave the links together of other family members in that cemetery or other ones nearby, so that other researchers can utilize my findings. My areas of particular interest are Lake County (where my family started off in this country), DuPage, Kane, DeKalb and Kendall counties, and also Morgan and Scott counties in southern Illinois. I'll also sometimes go out of my "comfort zone" if it's something that looks intriguing.
I try to arrange my photo expeditions according to my schedule and by areas, and of course by weather conditions. I only claim photo requests that I can absolutely fulfill, and try to fulfill them as promptly as possible.
As always, if you'd like to copy a photo, ask permission first in order to let me know how and where it's going to be used, and credit my work. Other than that, I'm happy to help you out in whatever way possible, just contact me.

Benjamin Franklin Bosworth Update
# 79858235 - Information is pretty much all incorrect. Was just checking it over again. This Boworth was not connected to Edward Bosworth. I have the line back to the Mayflower. Please contact me for corrections, or transfer to me please. Thanks so much!

Benjamin Franklin Bosworth
Hi! I am wondering if you would be able to transfer this family to me. I am a direct descendant of Benjamin F. Bosworth and have documented his life story and the genealogy for this family. I know how hard it is to get the facts straight, but, I can provide a more accurate biographical sketch for him than the information you have posted. Thank you so much for all the hard work you have done on all of your entries. I know I've e-mailed to you in the past and shared information on this family.

RE: Bates Family
Thank you so much. I had no idea about any of the extra information you told. I have just started working in genealogy fairly recently. I like the tidbits like a whaling captain or tavern owner. That's Awesome! Thanks again for you help.

Bates Family
Hi, I'm Shelby Blair, I was looking for more clues or information on the Bates Family of Lake County, Ohio. Benjamin was a many times over great grandfather that I didn't know about until a few minutes ago. I hope you might have a led to parents and further generations back. Thanks again.

RE: Philip Buck
Today, I also found that Philip Buck's grandparents were Johann and Anna Buck who lived and died in Bertie, Welland, Ontario, Canada. It is thus highly likely that Philip's mother and father (Frederick and Barbara) lived in Bertie at some time. Bob

RE: Philip Buck
Hello. Thanks for getting back to me. I have found that Family Genealogy can lead me down strange and confusing paths. I am fairly certain that the Phillip Buck who died in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois is my 3x great grandfather. Could there be more then one Philip Buck buried in Kane County causing me more confusion? In my research, I found his name and family listed in family in an 1870 U.S. census that says he was born in Canada in about 1800. In a genealogy, it says the town was Bertie Township, Welland, Canada. Genealogy also mentions a wife Maria (1805-1870). I did find in the genealogy that Phillip's father was born in Pennsylvania (1772) and died in New York (1820) so I am confused of the Canadian birth place also. I am presuming that maybe his father was pro England during the Revolutionary War and may have temporarily moved to Canada. I also found that Philip's wife Maria was a McNeil and the McNeil's were from Canada (maybe McNeil and Buck families are friends); again maybe giving them a reason for living in Canada for awhile. Sorry, I can't give more specifics. Thanks for all you do; Bob Meyers

I see your suggested edit for Leo and his parents. Can you please tell me your references? I am not familiar with his parents. Only his wife and child from my youth in DuPage Co.

Didn't check his draft registration. will look for it and make changes.
I have ran into problems with people and middle person says one thing and another says another. So unless I have a verifiable source I leave it like the tombstone. A draft is verifiable.
