I just started doing ancestry for my family. I found out that I love it. |
I also created and maintain a website for my brother's fishing tournament (with my daughter, Mandy's help).
If there are any pictures that I took that you like, feel free to take them. Sometimes I take extra pictures, so feel free to ask me if I have anything you might need.
Please email me if you need anything from the South Sioux City, Sioux City or Dakota City area. I love to do research. I have some resources here that could help you find your ancestors. I would be glad to help you find obituaries or anything else that you think I could help you with.
I am working on making ssancestry.comyr.com site. It is a site dedicated to the Siouxland area. It is under construction right now. Feel free to email me if you want to see if I have what you are looking for. I have a lot of obits that I would like to put up, but is very time consuming. I also have interment dates on Floyd, Graceland, Logan, McCook Lake, St Michael's cemeteries.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of the gravestone of George Egeskog.
He was the uncle of my wife (I've taken her family name) and went to the United States from Stavanger, Norway in 1926. We are surprised that the burial place was still there. I see that he died in March 1941, and that he probably had a son who died in 1940. He was married to Dorothy Sandvold, but we don't know any more about her.
He also had two other brothers who went to the United States in 1923 and lived in the same place as George. I've managed to track down descendants of the. George we knew only that died between 1940 and 1945.
I'm working on genealogy and I am grateful for the picture and information that I can now put into the family program.
Hope you understand my English, but I think the Norwegian would become a bit more difficult to understand.
With best regards, Řyvind Egeskog
Thanks for the taking the time to find Philip and his family. It is much appreciated.

Thank you very much for taking the time to photograph their gravesite for me. They were my great aunt and uncle. I will never venture there in person and so to see a photo, it is greatly appreciated.
