I have been tracing my family roots for about 40 years. I was excited to find this site that helps to document and share with others. I am a retired educator...23 years as a math and computer teacher and then 17 years as a district technology director.|
The families I am tracing include the following: Winn, Brantingham, Santee, Ellyson, Schussler, Longenecker, Patterson, McMillan.
I am currently working on posting memorials and pictures for the following cemeteries in or near New Philadelphia, Ohio: East Ave, Evergreen Burial Park, Fair St (Ave), Tuscarawas County Home Infirmary, Jerusalem Church, and St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Also, I am posting memorials for Damascus Cemetery in Damascus, Ohio.
I can add information and links to any memorial for you, or if I have a memorial for one of your relatives, I'll transfer ownership upon request. (Please give your relationship to the person.) Please make the request via the Edit tab and then Suggest a correction...
A note about bio info: if you submit something to be put in a bio, I will put "Additional information courtesy of ____________". If you don't want your name on there, let me know.
Feel free to use any of the pictures that I have posted.

I just wanted to thank you for the work you are doing documenting graves at the cemeteries. It's such important work and will be helpful in the future for folks who are interested in researching their family. Max R. Edie was my maternal uncle. He was my mother's twin brother. She was Maxine R. (Edie) Sears who passed away in 2007. I appreciate the photo you posted of his and Aunt Kate's headstone. Thank you again for all the work you do.

I just found my father's cousin, Hazel Meanor Van Fossen and she is listed as one of your memorials. I would like to link her to her mother, my great-aunt, Flora Meanor Smart. Would you like to transfer Hazel's management to me? Or is there another way I can link them?

I sent the correction for Margaret, and that's all. That's for being so helpful!

Hi - I submitted a relationship for Margret Glatfelter. Her parents were William and Emily (Mills) Dorsey. Emily's listing on Find A Grave (100158758) is under her second marriage name of Dorsey. To date, though, I have not found Margret's father, William Slife's grave.

well previously someone advised that that's the only place to use to indicate someone is a twin and the headstone clearly indicates they were; please feel free to handle these as you see as correct; thanks

I am trying to find out if this Christian Myers might be my gg-grandfather. Could you possibly check cemetery records to see if his parents are listed? Thanks, Debbie Lewis

Thank you for the credit.
I would like to know if you would transfer Blanche Kinsey's memorial to me. She is my great grandmother.
