If anyone wants information about cemeteries in Waverly,Sayre,or Athens. Please feel free to e-mail me using (genealogy) in subject line.

I have come across old records of most of the cemeteries in Waverly, New York, of EPIPHANY Cemetery, TIOGA POINT Cemetery records in PA, and CHEMUNG Cemetery in Chemung, NY. I am going to try and get all of the names added to the cemeteries. If you have a name you want information on, ask and I will do my best to get the information added as soon as I can. Also I am using the spelling of names as they are in the book. Let me know if they need any corrections.

I have been digging around in genealogy since 1973. I started taking pictures of headstone for my records, and enjoyed finding and going to cemeteries to read other stones.

I am still looking for my RANDOLPH,WHYLIE or WYLIE,LAYTON,LABARR,ARMSTRONG,BRAINARD,BRAINERD,VANHORN and SMITH lines.

Have hit the wall on JOSEPH B. ARMSTRONG (1/19/1797 - 2/3/1873 b. in Vermont)of Tompkins Co., NY He was married 3 times, First was MARY ? (Children JAMES R., ASHAR, ISAAC. 2nd Ann Waldron (children JEHIEL),last a MARY COOPER, (Children ROSETTA, MARY O. and MELISSA M.)

My SMITH line FREDERICK C. SMITH (1/19/1809 - 3/26/1859) I was told he was born in Ireland. He married PRISCILLA HOPKINS OR JOHNSON. Depending on who you talk to. They lived in LYCOMING Co., PA

My RANDOLPH line JAMES L. RANDOLPH (1/14/1801 in New Jersey - 11/27/1887 Bradford Co., PA)(James had 2 brothers living in Bradford County with him Peter and Joel.)He married HANNAH VANKIRK or VANBUSKIRK they has 11 children, 10 daughters and 1 son. Their oldest daughter Sarah was born in Northumberland Co., PA

My LAYTON line is with Edward or Andrew Layton married Irene LABARR, and had 5 children, Flora, married James RANDOLPH, Emma, married Thomas FOX,
Julia married Bird CANNAN, also Mary Jane and George.
If anyone has any information, I sure would love the help.

Also if you have any information on the pictures I have posted here PLEASE feel free to edit and add it.
