I hope this note finds you well. I am happy to announce that Capt. Max Van Den Corput, Commander of the Cherokee Artillery (CSA), now has a headstone. The men of Sons of Confederate Veteran Veterans, Capt. Max Van Den Corput's Battery Camp 669, Cave Soring, Ga, set a stone 17 Oct 2014. There was a dedication and memorial service for Capt. Corput held 17 Jan 2015, at Oakland Cem.
I have pictures if you are interested. Thank you.

Thanks Hans for creating the bios for William and Eliza Warwick one set of my gg grandparents. You did not have a death date for Eliza. My grandmother knew her and had told me she was the only grandparent she knew, and that she died when she was 17 or 18. My gm was born in 1893 so I guessed 1911, but it could have been 1910 as well.

Hello! I just wanted to thank you for going to take pictures of my Love ancestors' gravesite at Oakland. It's much appreciated! I knew there was a good chance that nothing was there, but I was grateful to be able to see the burial site anyway. Thank you for providing the additional info, as well. It's very helpful! :)

Thank you so very much for the photo and obit...
Your effort is greatly appreciated... do you happen to know if Annie (nee Debovich)-Levine is buried there?... she was Jacob's wife... she probably died sometime after the 1920 Census...
Thanks so much again.

Many thanks for your photo of Elizabeth Griffin Paxson Swift's and her husband's family marker.
She was one of my ancestors on my mother's side. I live in Texas and aren't able to visit this cemetery.

Hans, thanks so much for taking the time to take and add this photo to Tillman's memorial. It is a very nice recognition to unmarked graves. Thanks again, Connie
